I would clean any gun that was 10-15% dirty or higher.
While it's widely known that doing so doesn't affect the reticle, more of your shots will hit / higher damage. Upgrade your weapons with improved iron sights. I believe the proper camera settings to prevent this are in this article. I've never noticed anything particularly janky about the aim, but I do have a couple suggestions:įor starters, read this if you haven't already (nothing more annoying than having the camera constantly pulling back to forward-facing when trying to aim on horseback).
I play the console version with the XIM Apex adapter (bought it a couple weeks before they announced the PC release, lol). I'm not an experienced player by any means, but I've got a couple hundred hours in, mostly in RDO (still a long way to go in story mode).
